Neighbors NY is a New York state licensed home care services company providing top-quality, client-centered care to the elderly and people with disabilities in Warren, Washington, and northern Saratoga Counties. Our company has grown from a small team of caregivers to a company with satisfied clients throughout our service area. We attribute our growth to our demand for excellence in customer care and our employee recruitment and retention policies. We are always trying to find new and better ways to deliver assistance to our clients and their families. We have wonderful caregivers who truly have a passion for providing care – and they are our employees, thoroughly screened, bonded, and insured.

Neighbors NY was founded in 2006 and is owned by one of the original founders, Nancy Talarski.  Though the company has grown in these years of operation, we still interview each and every caregiver personally and will not hire anyone unless they pass the “Mom Test.” Simply put, the Mom Test means that we will not hire caregivers unless we would send them to care for our own mothers.  

Neighbors staff members recognize the importance of getting to know each of our clients. Our RN or Client Care manager provides an initial Needs Assessment to identify each client's needs and interests.  Then staff members match each client with caregivers who can best serve those needs. This extra attention encourages a special bond to form that makes exceptional care possible.
